Euro Star have suspended Bike Travel (see conditions) until further notice.

Update April 2022

It has been reported by British Cycling that Eurostar is working to restart it over sized luggage service which could include a cycle carriage.

The new service will included an online booking service for cycles, previously it was a two stage process.

The service will be available for Eurostar travel between London, Paris and Brussels, and also on the direct train from London to Amsterdam.

I have been informed that Euro-star will not be taking cycles (unless it meets luggage requirements,) until further notice, this is has been confirmed by a e-mail sent by the company see below.

The Eurodespatch department is currently closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic and we will not be taking luggage bookings at present. For further information please email eurodespatch@eurostar.com

Until further notice, our usual bike on board service is suspended on all routes and we will be unable to accept any bookings for fully assembled bikes or boxed bikes.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

You can still bring a folding bike or children's bike on board as long as it is no longer than 85cm in length and it's carried in a protective bag which covers the whole bike. This is to protect your bike, other people and their luggage at the station, when going through security, and on board.

Please note that the bike will be considered as one of your items of luggage in terms of luggage allowance.

Lets hope this changes soon. For latest website update Bike on Board
