Hello Cabanes offers shelter to cyclist in France

version française          Carte / Map Location of Cabanes

Hello Cabanes a French start up offers cycle tourists, bike packers amongst others a place to sleep and shelter off the beaten track, in campsites and  in communities that may not not have facilities for travellers.

The village of Origné has installed two huts on the banks of the Mayenne to welcome cycle tourists.

The Cabanes are made from wood offering simple accommodation for 3 travellers, including storage area for cycles and gear. The interior is equipped with a dining table and chairs and a charging plug for 3 devices or electric cycles.

To find the Cabanes there is and interactive map on the website, the site also offers the opportunity to reserve a Cabane, which is accessed via a lock box. Most are located in the north west of France.

The price to rent a Cabane varies depending on location.

To find out more you can visit the website, which is only in French at this time. It would be great to see more of this type of accommodation along the cycle ways of France.
