Route V33 La Seine à Vélo - Paris to the sea or vice versa.

V33 La Seine à Vélo

The new cycle way V33 La Seine à Vélo - Paris to the sea, was completed in 2020.

This 420 km route enables you to ride easily from Paris, next to the Seine, to Le Havre or Deauville on the English channel or vice versa .

For visitors from the UK this route now offers another route to Paris, with ferries departing from Portsmouth (Brittany Ferries) to Le Harve 5 times a week.

A round trip is possible by cycling the long established route V16 which is part of the Avenue Green London to Paris arriving / departing at the port of Dieppe.

The La Seine à Vélo can be used if you are happy to cycle through Paris to connect the EV 4 at La Havre and EV3 via the V32 at La Villette in the 19e.

The route has it own dedicated website that includes information on accommodation, tourist attractions and museums. There is much to see and do, so allow extra time on your adventure to explore what is on offer.

There is a large section on local food and drink, the last sections give information on cycle hire / repairs. Overall the site provides a useful tool to help plan your adventure. If you wish you can store your chosen itinerary via a personal account.

Navigation from the website can be downloaded in several forms including GPX and PDF, local tour guides are available in tourist offices and local shops. For independent route planning we recommend cycle.travel
